Description We are offering a role for a Collections Specialist in New Kensington, Pennsylvania. The selected candidate will be part of a team that handles collections-related administrative duties in a hybrid work environment. The primary function of this role is to handle large volumes of collections related administrative tasks, requiring strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee a large volume of collections-related administrative tasks.
• Utilize your skills in MS Office applications and accounting software for daily tasks.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members to handle inquiries and issues.
• Show keen attention to detail in all tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Utilize your accounting and administrative skills to improve and streamline processes.
• Handle customer service related tasks as needed, maintaining a high level of professionalism.
• Monitor customer accounts, ensuring timely collections and resolution of issues.
• Work collaboratively with the team to achieve set objectives and targets.
• Continuously improve knowledge of collection processes and billing functions.
• Use IBM AS/400 and Accurint software to manage customer accounts and track collections. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Knowledge of Accurint
• Experience with Great Plains (GPAC)
• Familiarity with IBM AS/400
• Mastery of Microsoft Excel
• Capability to handle Billing Functions
• Understanding of Collection Processes
• Experience as a Collector
• Knowledge of Credit processes
• Strong Customer Service skills
