Robert Half Business Intelligence (BI) Consultant in New London, Connecticut

Description

We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a highly organized and detail-oriented Business Intelligence (BI) Consultant to join our team in New London, Connecticut. In this role, you will be handling tasks related to BusinessObjects Technologies, Cognos Business Intelligence, Database, and Data Visualization to provide customer solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Business Intelligence (BI) solutions using BusinessObjects Technologies and Cognos Business Intelligence tools.

• Maintain and enhance existing Database systems to ensure efficient operation and data integrity.

• Create compelling Data Visualizations to communicate complex data in a simple, easy-to-understand manner.

• Use EO/IR systems and AB Testing to assess the performance of implemented solutions and make necessary adjustments.

• Leverage Analytics to draw insights from large data sets and inform decision-making processes.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document Business Intelligence (BI) requirements.

• Stay updated with the latest Business Intelligence Technologies and best practices to improve the quality of solutions.

• Assist in the preparation of detailed Business Requirement Documents to guide the development of BI solutions.

• Train end-users on new systems and provide ongoing support as needed.

• Participate in team meetings and collaborate with other team members to achieve project goals.

Requirements • Proven experience in Business Intelligence Technologies and BusinessObjects Technologies

• Proficiency in Cognos Business Intelligence

• Strong understanding and experience with Database and Data Visualization

• Familiarity with EO/IR systems

• Experience with AB Testing

• Strong analytical skills and experience with Analytics

• Expertise in Business Intelligence (BI)

• Ability to write and understand Business Requirement Document

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong project management and organizational skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field

• Relevant certifications in Business Intelligence or Data Analysis would be advantageous. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
