HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER:

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources (HR) Manager to be part of our client's team located in New Orleans, Louisiana. In this role, you will be tasked with managing a variety of HR functions, including employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance, among others. This role will also involve overseeing the onboarding process and corporate recruiting.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies, manage the recruitment process, and coordinate new employee orientation and onboarding programs.

  • Administer employee benefits and handle all related tasks, including benefits administration and compensation.

  • Serve as the primary contact for employee inquiries and concerns, manage disciplinary actions, terminations, and exit interviews.

  • Identify training needs, create comprehensive training programs, and organize internal and external training sessions.

  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, maintain HR policies and procedures, and conduct audits of HR practices.

  • Oversee employee benefits programs, assist employees with benefits-related questions, and work with benefits providers.

  • Leverage skills in Compensation Administration, Compliance, Employee Relations, and Corporate Recruiting to enhance HR operations.

  • Lead corporate recruiting efforts to attract top talent to the organization.

    Requirements

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience as a Human Resources Manager for a minimum of 5 years.

  • Comprehensive understanding of Benefit Functions and Benefits Administration.

  • Strong knowledge in Compliance and legal procedures related to Human Resources.

  • Demonstrated experience in Employee Relations and Corporate Recruiting.

  • Skilled in Onboarding new employees.

  • Familiarity with Compensation & Benefits strategies.

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

  • Knowledge of labor laws and regulations.

  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.

  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is a plus.
