Description
Seeking an EA/Bookkeeper to join a newly created NFP in Ulster County. Person will be responsible for daily bookkeeping tasks, including recording and classifying financial transactions, bank recs, AP/AR. Assisting with the development and implementation of new financial systems and policies. Handle payroll operations, schedule and remind of appointments, ensuring smooth workflow. Candidate should have working knowledge of QuickBooks and Excel.
Exposure to government grants and grant compliance is a huge plus.

Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a bookkeeping role
• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Ability to conduct Bank Reconciliations
• Solid understanding and experience with Bookkeeping practices
• Proficient in Data Entry tasks
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Experience with Month End Close procedures
• Familiarity with Payroll processes
• Proficiency in using QuickBooks accounting software
• Experience in Grant Accounting is a plus
