Description
Ideal candidate for this newly created position will have experience in payroll and multi-state sales-tax out of a public CPA firm.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare and reconcile quarterly payroll tax returns
• Maintain and update union rates in the accounting system
• Assist payroll associates with union rate inquiries and report preparation
• Manage all business licenses for companies in each state
• Support CFO and controller with quarterly financial reporting
• Handle new reporting and/or tax requirements as they arise
• Experience with certified payroll reporting to assist payroll associates with questions, set-up and preparation when needed.
Requirements • Must hold a minimum of 2 years of experience in a corporate tax role
• Proficiency in handling Payroll Taxes is essential
• Knowledge and experience in Multi-state Tax management are required
• Should have experience in dealing with Sales Tax
• Familiarity with IRS W-2 Forms is crucial
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required
• Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in using tax software and Microsoft Office Suite is necessary
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) certification is a plus.
