Robert Half International Helpdesk Analyst in New York City, New York
Robert Half Technology is looking for a help desk analyst to support local and field users in a growing company called Jones Knowles Ritchie. To be successful in this role, you should be a creative problem solver who enjoys working in a dynamic and rapidly-changing work environment. Daily Operational Tasks * Log and maintain a record of support calls through helpdesk systems * Provide a broad range of 1st and 2nd line technical support to 70+ users * Escalate support calls efficiently to ensure they are resolved by the senior member of IT * Provide support for reprographic equipment, escalating to external engineers when required * Train and assist users in a number of different software packages * Ensure network, server and services are always accessible to users * Provide weekly status reports on on-going user issues and raise common problems that can be addressed to prevent future occurrences * Setup new user computers and phones * Create documentation and guides for users * Maintain audits of hardware and software * Ad Hoc IT tasks as and when required/appropriate
Skills * Prioritize and manage multiple support calls based on priority * Resolve all staff?s technical issues promptly and effectively * Communicating with staff members as required: keeping them informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes or agreed outages * Communication with the rest of the team: unresolved support calls, escalation, information * Ensure a good working relationship and rapport with all staff members * 1-2 years of experience with Mac Support
