Robert Half Accounts Payable Clerk in New York, New York
Description We are on the lookout for a meticulous Accounts Payable Clerk to be a part of our team operating in the retail clothing and accessories industry, based in New York. This position involves managing customer applications, maintaining precise customer records, and resolving customer inquiries. This role also includes overseeing customer accounts and taking necessary actions.
Responsibilities
• Assisting with the organization of accrual entries
• Conducting daily reconciliation activities
• Updating and maintaining reports
• Setting up new vendors and assisting with vendor payment requests
• Reviewing General Ledger (GL) coding
• Exhibiting proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data entry and other tasks
• Processing invoices accurately and efficiently
• Assisting with audit preparation, particularly year-end invoice reconciliations
• Performing ad hoc Accounts Payable tasks
• Utilizing software like Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP, and Ariba for various tasks Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required.
• Must have experience in Accounts Payable (AP).
• Ability to carry out Check Runs efficiently.
• Familiarity with Coding Invoices is a must.
• Must possess strong Data Entry skills.
• Experience in Invoice Processing is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
• Experience with Oracle software is desired.
• Must have knowledge of QuickBooks.
• Familiarity with SAP software is a plus.
• Experience in using Ariba software is beneficial.
• Ability to perform Daily Reconciliation tasks.
