Description
Rapidly expanding New York City organization is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist. The Accounts Payable Specialist must have 2+ years of accounts payable experience including matching, batching, coding invoices, cutting checks, handling expenses, purchase orders/inventory related AP work, etc. Bachelors Degree preferred. Intermediate/Advanced Microsoft Excel skills a must. Knowledge of NetSuite a plus.
Requirements
• Possess a minimum of 2+ years of experience in an Accounts Payable role or similar accounting role.
• Proficient in Accounts Payable (AP) procedures.
• Demonstrated experience with Check Runs and Coding Invoices.
• Strong skills in Data Entry and Invoice Processing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and able to use it for various accounting tasks.
• Able to work cooperatively in a team and communicate effectively with various departments.
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work.
• Possess excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet and professional manner.
• Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.
