Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in the Manufacturing industry, located in New York, New York. We are seeking an Applications Architect to join our team. This role involves a deep understanding of AWS Technologies and Industrial IoT protocols and applications.
Responsibilities:
• Architect and design cloud-native and hybrid solutions using AWS and open-source technologies.
• Hold an AWS Associate Level or Professional Level certification.
• Handle AWS IoT, Amazon EKS, and EFS-Web technologies.
• Implement Amazon ETS Cluster.
• Work with Industrial IoT protocols and applications.
• Ensure efficient and secure applications architecture.
• Collaborate with the team to solve complex technical challenges.
• Enhance and maintain the technical architecture of applications.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs. Requirements • Proficiency in AWS Technologies is mandatory for this role.
• Experience with AWS IoT is a necessary skill.
• Familiarity with Amazon EKS is required.
• Knowledge of EFS-Web is a significant asset.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is beneficial.
• Must have strong architectural design skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities are required.
• Must have strong communication skills to effectively liaise with various departments.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team is crucial.
• Must have a strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Proven experience in cloud-based application architecture is highly desirable.
• Must possess excellent project management skills.
• Familiarity with other cloud technologies will be an added advantage.
• Must demonstrate a strong understanding of data management and security protocols.
• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
• Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Excellent documentation skills are necessary.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies is a plus.
