Description We are offering an opportunity for an Assistant Controller to join our team in New York, New York. The role is primarily focused on fund accounting duties within a telecom provider industry. The successful candidate will be expected to perform a variety of tasks, including waterfall calculations, NAV calculations, closings, and quarterly closings. The role also requires strong experience with systems including Dynamics, Excel, and Yardi.

Responsibilities:

• Perform fund accounting duties including waterfall calculations, NAV calculations, and closings

• Assist with the quarterly closing process

• Maintain and update accurate customer credit records

• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments

• Use systems including Dynamics, Excel, and Yardi for various accounting tasks

• Resolve customer credit inquiries in a timely and efficient manner

• Collaborate with other team members to ensure accuracy of financial reports

• Provide assistance in other accounting tasks as required

• Continually update skills and knowledge in the field of fund accounting. Requirements • Candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in an Assistant Controller role or similar

• Must possess strong skills in Fund Accounting

• Proficiency in financial reporting systems and methodologies

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required

• Professional certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) is preferred

• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial data interpretation

• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
