About the Firm:
Our client is a prominent law firm with nationally and internationally recognized expertise in the transportation industry. They have successfully handled cases across every state and in numerous foreign jurisdictions at the investigatory, regulatory, trial, and appellate levels. The firm has offices in Chicago, Miami, Newark, New York, and Washington, D.C.
About the Role:
The firm focuses primarily on aviation litigation, with some consulting work involved. This position will be predominantly litigation-based and requires at least 3 years of experience, ideally in personal injury defense side litigation.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor degree with an exceptional academic record from an accredited law school.
Licensed to practice law in New York (admission in New Jersey and Florida is a plus).
Exceptional legal writing and advocacy skills.
Experience in areas such as air carriers, aircraft maintenance, slip and falls, premises liability, federal statutes, regulations, and preemption in transportation litigation.
Prior experience in insurance defense and handling cases related to product liability, transportation, aviation, and product liability.
What We Seek:
We are looking for an attorney with a strong foundation of at least 3 years of experience, ideally in personal injury litigation. While defense-side experience is preferred, we are open to considering candidates with plaintiff-side experience. Trial experience is not mandatory.
