Role: Personal Injury Associate Attorney
Location: New York, NY
Schedule: Hybrid - 3 days in/2 days remote
Salary: $140,000 - $155,000
Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Personal Injury Attorney to join their dynamic legal team in New York City. The ideal candidate will have 2-8 years of experience in personal injury law and a strong passion for advocating on behalf of clients who have suffered injuries due to the negligence of others.
Responsibilities:
Draft Motions & the responses to them.
Attend conferences
Conduct thorough legal research and prepare legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
Draft & Review Discovery Responses
Prepare and present cases in court as necessary (virtual and in person), including drafting trial briefs and delivering opening and closing statements.
Collaborate with medical experts, investigators, and other professionals to strengthen case arguments
Requirements
Requirements:
2 to 8 years of personal injury experience (preferably plaintiffs, but not required)
Trial experience preferred but not required
Active license to practice law in New York State.
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Good writing skills
