Robert Half Billing Coordinator in NEW YORK, New York
Robert Half is currently working with a dynamic client seeking a Billing Coordinator. Billing Coordinator responsibilities include creating invoices and credit memos, sending payment reminders, and updating accounting records and customer information. This may be the role for you if you are a dynamic Billing Coordinator with excellent communication, customer service and organizational skills.
Your responsibilities in this role
Communicate with vendors/clients regarding billing adjustments
Collect payments (online payments, cash, etc.) and check for accuracy
Prepare all information needed for bills receivable calculation
Track payments and manage all reminders, and contact customers if needed
Verify accuracy of billing data, correcting any errors
Provide customers with bills and invoices via available channels (physically or via email or another digital system)
Respond to vendor/client requests
Record journal entries for all adjustments to billings
Maintain customer accounts, checking for debts, incomplete information, and other issues
Manage accounting records, recording all new payments, balances, customer information etc.
Manage the issuing of customer account statements
Manage billing complaints and help customers
Assemble reports to distribute to senior managers and executives
Bachelors Degree preferred.
Microsoft Office knowledge required
