Description
Robert Half is currently working with a client looking to fill a Billing Specialist position. As the Billing Specialist you will create invoices, credit memos, update accounting records, customer information, and send payment reminders. If you are a Billing Specialist with excellent customer service, organizational, and communication skills, this may be the role for you! The BIlling Specialist position is located in Downtown Manhattan.
Your responsibilities in this role
Keep all customer account information up to date and manage any problems
Release periodical customer account statements
Distribute invoices and bills to customers via email, other digital systems, or in person
Maintain accuracy in billing data, correcting any errors
Send reminders for payments and contact customers if needed
Respond to vendor/client requests
Construct reports to company's executives and senior managers
Prepare journal entries of adjustments to billings
Assist customers and handle billing complaints
Review billing adjustments with vendors and clients
Collect payments (online payments, cash, etc.) and check for accuracy
Assemble all needed information for bills receivable calculation
Maintain accounting records with new payments, balances, customer information etc.
Requirements
Hands-on knowledge of MS Office Suite
Associates Degree preferred.
