Growing New York City organization is currently seeking a Billing Specialist. This role involves the processing of customer billing, reconciliation of invoices, and being a key member of a high-volume Accounts Receivable team.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain accurate billing records between the organization and our partners

• Ensure swift and timely reconciliation of invoices to avoid discrepancies

• Collaborate as part of a high-volume Accounts Receivable team to manage large amounts of billing and invoicing tasks

• Utilize accounting software systems to maintain accurate records and produce reports

• Employ Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office Suites to organize data and generate necessary documentation

• Perform accounting functions and billing functions as needed

• Handle claim administration tasks, ensuring all claims are processed and handled efficiently

• Engage in collection processes, taking appropriate action to collect delinquent payments

• Deliver excellent customer service when resolving customer credit inquiries

• Maintain accurate customer credit records and process customer credit applications efficiently.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Experience in initiating Collection Processes

• Excellent Customer Service skills

• Knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR) and Billing

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
