Bookkeeper in NEW YORK, New York
Description A Bookkeeper with a collaborative attitude who wants to join a reputable company is just who Robert Half is looking for. The short-term contract / temporary Bookkeeper will work in the New York, New York area.
What you get to do every single day
Arrange financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information
Sustain collections of historical records by organizing documents
Examine payments received and record deposits
Supervise bookkeeping policies and procedures, along with developing a framework to track financial transactions with an established chart of accounts
Conduct and manage the general ledger
Settle accounts by reconciling entries
Maintain accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions Requirements - BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred
Comprehensive knowledge of bookkeeping
Experience using accounting software
Previous experience as a Bookkeeper preferred
