Robert Half Bookkeeper in New York, New York
Description Talented and goal-oriented candidates are encouraged to apply to this Bookkeeper opportunity offered on a permanent basis with one of Robert Half's clients. This role will consist of Bookkeeper tasks such as data entry, full cycle A/P, and cash applications. Also, you will be responsible for month-end closing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and reconciliation. Apply immediately! This role is a great opportunity for self-driven and organized professionals. This Bookkeeper role will be located in the New York, New York area and will be a permanent position.
What you get to do every single day
Assemble sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments
Sustain monthly accounting close
Form monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents
Sustain a general ledger
Other assignments as requested
Govern monthly accounting close
Knowledgeable in credit card management and reconciliation
Ready subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirement
Lead Accounts Receivable
File cash flow projections, as needed
Update Accounts Payable Requirements - Accomplished in analytical, quantitative and social skills
Comfortable working in a changing and dynamic environment
Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems
Deep understanding of Yardi Property Management
Comprehensive knowledge of Yardi
Foundational knowledge in Yardi Software
Yardi Enterprise experience preferred
Strong organization skills
Ability to complete multiple tasks and projects within deadlines
Strong communication and social skills
- Remarkable accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred
Attention to detail and proven ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
Top notch analytical, organizational, and vendor management skills
