Description
We are inviting applications for the role of SuccessFactors / Employee Central Business Analyst - Enterprise Business Systems in the Financial Services industry. This role is based in New York, New York, 10007-2277, United States. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing business needs, developing high-value features and solutions, and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze business requirements, elicit, analyze, and record them in user stories and use cases.
• Create and maintain documentation and standards.
• Collaborate with business and development teams to implement features and solutions.
• Provide functional leadership and offer a business user perspective to development team members.
• Work on key business initiatives in Agile and Waterfall software development environments.
• Manage JIRA boards and backlogs and plan sprints.
• Develop expert-level functional and technical knowledge in relevant applications.
• Build relationships with business partners.
• Drive the development and improvement of business processes within the organization.
• Handle sensitive information with utmost confidentiality and tact in difficult situations.
Requirements • Demonstrable experience in Business Analysis within the Financial Services industry
• Proficiency in using business analysis tools such as JIRA, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies
• Experience with Business Process Functions and Enterprise Business Systems
• Strong skills in Documentation, Planning, and Requirements Gathering
• Proven ability to handle Sensitive Information with Confidentiality
• Strong Leadership Skills and ability to work with Development Teams and Business Partners
• Proficient in creating User Stories and Use Cases
• Experience in Backlog Grooming and conducting Sprints
• Ability to drive Business Initiatives and build strong Relationships
• Strong skills in Requirement Analysis and Elicitation
• Ability to handle Difficult Situations professionally
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Computer Sciences, or Engineering
