Description
We are in the telecommunications sector, located in New York, New York. We are currently seeking a Communication Specialist to join our team. This role involves a variety of tasks related to internal and external communication. This is a permanent position.
Responsibilities:
• Write project descriptions, news summaries, and leadership bios to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
• Prepare and update content for social media platforms and third-party website profiles to maintain a consistent online presence.
• Update the website using Wordpress to ensure the most recent and accurate information is available online.
• Assist with the preparation and submission of awards, exhibitions, lectures, and presentations to promote the company's achievements and initiatives.
• Produce a monthly internal firm-wide email newsletter to keep all team members informed of company news and updates.
• Utilize your skills in Facebook Insights, Brochures, and Copywriting to deliver effective and engaging communication materials.
Requirements • Must have a minimum of one year of experience as a Communication Specialist or in a related role
• Demonstrated skills in using Facebook Insights for data analysis and strategy development
• Proven experience in creating engaging and informative brochures for various audiences
• Excellent copywriting skills with an ability to produce clear, concise and compelling content
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills with an ability to think strategically
• Knowledge of current communication trends and technologies is a plus
• Experience in a digital communication role is preferred
