Description We are in search of a skilled Controller to join our New York-based team. This role is crucial to our organization as it involves establishing financial benchmarks, implementing accounting policies, and managing monthly close cycles. The successful candidate will also be expected to develop robust internal controls and oversee a dynamic accounting team.

Responsibilities:

• Establish financial and operating benchmarks, budgets, profitability monitoring, and reporting standards on an annual, quarterly, and monthly basis.

• Implement and enforce consistent accounting policies, practices, and procedures across the company, adhering to global, national, and local legal standards.

• Develop and enforce internal controls to maximize the protection of company assets, policies, procedures, and workflows.

• Manage monthly close cycles for all reporting entities.

• Perform monthly financial statement budget vs actual comparisons across all entities.

• Oversee and support a growing accounting team with dynamic leadership that creates an environment of trust and productivity.

• Ensure familiarity with software systems such as NetSuite and possess the ability to handle tasks related to Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Auditing, Budget Processes, and Month End Close.

• Conduct financial reporting in compliance with US GAAP and IFRS Accounting standards. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience with auditing practices and procedures

• Familiarity with budget processes and their implementation

• Ability to handle Month End Close procedures

• Proficiency in using NetSuite for financial operations

• Proven experience in Financial Reporting

• Knowledge of US GAAP standards and regulations

• Familiarity with IFRS Accounting principles

• Proven ability to work in a team and independently

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy

• Demonstrated integrity and confidentiality

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
