Robert Half Division Controller in NEW YORK, New York
Our client, a sports and entertainment company, is seeking a Controller to join their Finance team in NYC. This person will be involved in all aspects of the Financial team, partnering with the Head of Finance to develop and lead accounting processes and procedures. The Controller will play an active role in the companies corporate accounting, financial reporting, and ensuring timely reporting of accounting transactions. The Controller will be responsible for monitoring general ledgers, AR & AP, and ensuring the accuracy in accordance with US GAAP. In addition, the Controller will direct and support financial audits and be the liaison between external auditors and consultants. Other critical responsibilities include preparing FP& A reports and supporting the Head of Finance in ad hoc projects. Bachelor's degree in Accounting
Knowledge and familiarity with Oracle, SAP, and QuickBooks
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
