Robert Half e-Billing Coordinator in NEW YORK, New York
Description
Robert Half is currently working with a large and dynamic law firm in Manhattan, NY to hire for a permanent e-Billing legal billing position. This is a challenging position that will present a great opportunity to work for a leading organization and on an interactive team where you will be responsible for the firms e-billing functions.
Responsibilities
Manage customer accounts, check for outstanding debts, incorrect or incomplete information, or other problems
Manage accounting records, recording all new payments, balances, customer information etc.
Manage the issuing of customer account statements
Distribute invoices and bills to customers via email, other digital systems, or in person
Answer requests from clients and vendors
Check payments for accuracy, including cash and online payments
Prepare all information needed for bills receivable calculation
Manage payment reminders and contact customers if needed
Put together reports for executives and senior managers
Record journal entries for all adjustments to billings
Manage billing complaints and help customers
Communicate with vendors/clients regarding billing adjustments
Check for billing data accuracy and fix any errors as needed
Requirements
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, LEDES experience and Aderant experience required
Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
-3+ year legal e-billing experience at a large law firm is required
-Demonstrated ability to work well with a team and supporting multiple functions simultaneously required
