Robert Half Event Coordinator in New York, New York

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Event Coordinator in New York. This role is in the fast-paced HR tech industry and involves managing the execution of virtual events to support our marketing and sales objectives. The Event Coordinator will work closely with cross-functional teams and external vendors to deliver a seamless experience for attendees.


• Develop and execute a comprehensive virtual event strategy that aligns with our marketing and sales objectives

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify key topics, speakers, and formats for the virtual events

• Manage the end-to-end execution of virtual events, from concept development and promotion to live event management and post-event follow-up

• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and manage external vendors and speakers to ensure a seamless attendee experience

• Work with HR publications vendors for event resources

• Coordinate and strategize with team members across global locations

• Focus on creating and executing virtual webinars

• Utilize CRM tools like Salesforce and Marchetto for efficient event management

• Ensure all tasks are completed with a high level of detail and can withstand heavy work demands

• Utilize skills in coordinating events, brand marketing, and customer service. Requirements • Proficiency in BeOS, Chef, CRM, Crystal Reports, Fusion, About Time

• Demonstrated understanding of budget processes

• Experience in catering and coordinating events

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Knowledge of handling adverse events

• Proven track record in brand marketing

• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently

• Must have excellent problem-solving skills

• Strong knowledge of industry trends and event planning best practices

• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and negotiate contracts
