Description We are in search of a motivated and analytically driven Financial Analyst in NEW YORK, New York. The selected candidate will be a part of a dynamic team within a telecom provider. This role will require the candidate to conduct thorough financial analysis, research, and data management. The role offers a contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Compile and analyze data according to statistical formulas for use in data analysis and/or statistical studies.

• Prepare business analytics and assist in preparing data governance metrics and reporting.

• Conduct research and analysis of data, its definitions and usage, system flows, and key challenges and opportunities.

• Assist in the preparation of reports as needed.

• Collaborate closely with data stakeholders to drive decision-making processes and facilitate discussions to address conflicting viewpoints.

• Develop documentation including reference guides, summaries, reports, meeting minutes, etc.

• Assist with the administration of governance forums as needed.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Exercise auditing practices and risk management in handling financial data.

• Utilize skills in documentation, reporting, and research in executing tasks.

• Maintain professional interaction with stakeholders and business units while performing job functions. Requirements • Prior experience in a Financial Analyst role or related position

• Strong knowledge of finance, auditing, and tax accounting principles

• Proficiency in data analysis, metric reporting, and creating charts and graphs

• Demonstrated ability to conduct research and provide detailed documentation

• Experience with human resources administration, internal control, and risk management

• Familiarity with e-commerce and financial services sectors

• Background in computer sciences and engineering is advantageous

• Excellent decision-making skills and the ability to create summary reports

• Comprehensive understanding of business process functions and business units

• Proficient in managing stakeholders and performing ad hoc financial practices

• Skills in verification and statistical analysis

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
