Robert Half Fund Accountant in New York, New York
Responsible for treasury functions, including detailed cash projections, fund liquidity reporting, and wire processing
Accounting for fund and allocations as it relates to various funds, including allocations of profit and loss, capital calls, distributions and requisite fee calculations and quarterly investor and fund level reporting.
Monitoring compliance with the fund's various credit facilities and reporting requirements
Assist audit and tax professionals in year end audit and tax reporting LP reporting including marketing analysis for future funds
Various ad-hoc requests from senior management and portfolio managers
Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance
Strong understanding of accounting theory and fund accounting and financial reporting
2 -4 years accounting/finance experience
CPA a plus, but not required
Experience with credit related products, including loan settlement and trade reconciliations is a plus
Highly detail oriented and organized in work
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
Self-starting attitude and entrepreneurial spirit balance with a commitment to teamwork
Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
Proficiency with email and Microsoft Office applications
