Description
A growing Venture Capital firm in NYC is seeking a Fund Controller to join their dynamic and innovative team. As a Fund Controller, you will play a pivotal role in supporting various aspects of our finance operations. You will have the opportunity to work across multiple functions including fund accounting, management company accounting, investor relations, fund compliance, tax, valuation and deal support, accounts payable, and other general finance work. As the Fund Controller, you will conduct thorough reviews of fund administrator deliverables to ensure accuracy and completeness, in addition to being the primary point of contact for investor inquiries, fostering strong and positive relationships. In this role you will lead brainstorming sessions and drive idea generation to enhance firm processes and efficiency. Requirements
-BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or related field
-6+ years of experience in fund accounting, public accounting experience preferred
-CPA preferred
