Description
Recognized new York City organization is currently seeking a Human Resources Director. In this influential role, you will be at the forefront of managing initial employee integration, resource planning, and maintaining a workplace culture that encourages high achievement and job satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Undertake end-to-end recruitments, ensuring suitable candidate placement
Plan and supervise our internship program
Track staffing metrics, and manage recruitment based on the organization's needs
Drive the execution of new employee initiation and transition exercises
Overlook all HR functions including compensation, payroll, benefits, disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations, performance and talent management, productivity, recognition, morale and training/professional development
Respond and advice on employment-related queries and amplify complex issues when necessary
Participate in employee disciplinary procedures, terminations, and investigations
Maintain and update employee and HR records
Ensuring company-wide compliance with all legal and regulatory employment norms
Contribute to the development of company policies, procedures, and employee handbooks, and ensure their effective implementation
Stay updated with the latest trends and changes in HR, talent management, and employment law
Implement risk management strategies and anticipate potential issues
Encourage positive employee relations and a harmonious working environment
Manage office events, meetings, and payroll processing
Requirements
10 + years of experience in an HR role
Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree a must
A good understanding of employment legislation
Excellent communications and leadership skills
Ability to create a positive working culture
