A Management Consulting firm located in Midtown is currently seeking an HR Specialist to join their growing team. As the HR Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional internal customer support while driving Human Resources (HR) functional excellence and process improvement. The ideal candidate requires strategic, “out-of-the box” thinking to be successful in a high performing HR department. As an HR Specialist, your role is critical in the planning, implementation, and maintenance of Talent Management services in the areas of employee relations, compliance policy, recruitment, onboarding, compensation, and performance management. This role is key to the NYC HR team and will serve as the subject matter expert on people-related matters.

A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related field is required. A minimum of 2-3+ years’ experience in Human Resources with at least 1 year of experience performing employee relations including performance management, benefits knowledge and compensation in needed. We are seeking candidates with a strong understanding and knowledge of Employee Relations, Employment Law, and Regulatory Compliance. The ideal candidate will have some exposure to working in Professional Services or Management Consulting with a PHR certification being a huge plus.
