Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an HR Specialist in New York. The role involves managing various HR functions in a fast-paced environment. The HR Specialist will be responsible for providing expert guidance on HR tasks, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring seamless data entry transactions as it pertains to the Workday system. Must have extensive knowelge of Workday recruiting and compensation functions and can train other team members on the system.

Responsibilities:

• Provide training and support to the recruitment team on HR processes and transactions

• Manage all data entry transactions, including setting up new hires, creating and updating job profiles and positions

• Handle job requisitions, promotions, salary changes, and organizational changes

• Identify and resolve issues related to HR transactions, ensuring timely solutions to maintain operational continuity

• Demonstrate strong change management skills to assist teams in adapting to new processes and updates within the HR system

• Serve as the point person for all HR related inquiries and issues

• Monitor HR related customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary

• Ensure accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications

• Maintain comprehensive and accurate customer credit records.

Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

• Over 5 years of experience in a Human Resources role

• Proficient in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now

• Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode

• Experience with Ceridian, CRM, and About Time

• Strong auditing skills

• Knowledge of benefit functions

• Excellent communication skills

• Deep understanding of compliance regulations and standards

• Experience with Workday HRIS, Workday Integration, Workday ERP, Workday Recruiting, and Workday Payroll

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion and integrity

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact.
