Description
An interdisciplinary architecture and design firm located in Union Square is seeking an In House Counsel to add to their team.
In House Counsel for the legal department of international design firm. Minimum three years' experience in entertainment, corporate, construction, real estate, and/or land use law. Experience should include reviewing/drafting agreements for design services, construction litigation, and working with operations departments and design studios. Applicant should be attentive to detail, curious, organized, and proficient in Word 2013, PowerPoint, and Excel. Law degree required, U.S. school preferred.
Requirements
• Must possess a minimum of three years of experience as an In-House Counsel or similar role
• Proficiency in Case Management Software is essential
• Must be skilled in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office Suites
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required
• Should be adept at documentation and record-keeping
• Experience in drafting and reviewing Commercial Contracts is necessary
• Prior experience in drafting contracts is required
