ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  1. Help define IT infostructure strategy and processes.

  2. Analyze business requirements with key users across the organization and provide input to

strategic decisions that affect the functional areas of responsibility.

  1. Gives input into developing new procedures to automate company departments.

  2. Assess vendors and provide input for new hardware, phone system, data sharing. Gives

input to developing budget for procedures and structure improvements, including but not

limited to data, phones, security and privacy set up.

  1. Troubleshoot and solve hardware and software issues related to internal IT.

  2. Monitor daily operations and support team to rectify IT related issues and malfunctioning.

  3. Capable of solving issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other

departments.

  1. Capable of setting up EDI connections with new customers and vendors partners,

updating/improving existing connections and solving issues related to EDI connections.

  1. Assist overseas IT team with testing during the initial implementation of SAP. After the

initial set up, ensures all SAP procedures are followed by the US team, take lead in opening

tickets and solve issues that may arise.

  1. Maintain, support, upgrade systems application products, computer systems, and repair any

technical issues with these systems.

  1. Work closely with US IT third party consultant and SMEG SpA IT department to secure

smooth operations.

  1. Other tasks required based on specific needs.
