Robert Half Office Manager in New York, New York

Description We are offering an opportunity to join our team in the role of an Office Manager in New York, New York. This role is at the heart of our operations, ensuring the smooth functioning of our office on a daily basis. The individual in this role will be responsible for managing office operations, overseeing the handling of packages, and assisting with various administrative tasks. This is a contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily office operations to ensure a smoothly functioning workplace.

• Manage office equipment, including copiers and scanners, and handle any related maintenance or issues.

• Receive and ship packages using FedEx and handle all related tasks.

• Use Microsoft Excel and Adobe software to complete tasks and requests from tenants.

• Communicate effectively and professionally with tenants, addressing their queries and needs.

• Manage the schedule for the business center and ensure all operations run smoothly.

• Handle walk-ins and provide assistance as needed.

• Assist with accounting functions such as Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Use Microsoft Office Suites and Outlook for various tasks and communication.

• Ensure a high level of customer service at all times. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Office Manager role or similar position

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, and Microsoft Outlook

• Strong understanding of Accounting Functions, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience with Billing Functions

• Proven customer service skills with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

• High level of organization and ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently

• Ability to work independently and make decisions under minimal supervision

• High level of discretion and confidentiality with sensitive company information

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field is preferred
