Description Do you love building solid customer relationships? You might be the Customer Service candidate Robert Half is looking for. We are currently looking for a dynamic, efficient, and passionate Customer Service/Order Entry Associate for a fine wine wholesaler in Manhattan. The Customer Service/Order Entry Associate will be responsible for entering and processing heavy orders (via phone, email, chat) into Navision, monitoring inventory controls and availability, providing quotes and accurate pricing, managing shipping schedules, and providing support to the sales and marketing teams. The Associate will be in constant communication with customers, sales teams and the warehouse confirming orders, informing of shipping date(s), any possible delays and back orders and much more.
The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years+ experience in the wine industry, hospitality, or a similar role in the e-commerce luxury goods field. Candidates must be motivated and passionate about providing exceptional customer service. Prior experience utilizing Navision preferred and stellar MS Office Suite skills are required. This is a fantastic opportunity within a well-regarded, fast-paced growing organization. Salary range from 60-65 plus solid benefits. Order entry experience
Proficiency in enterprise resource planning (ERP)
Export customer service experience preferred
Customer service experience highly desired
Logistics & distribution experience desired
Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
Proven experience going the extra mile to solve complex customer inquiries via extensive research
Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information
3+ years of past relevant experience
Excellent customer service and office administrative skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with internal and external partners and clients/customers
Positive attitude and an engaging businesslike approach
Active problem-solver who listens for customer cues and actively resolves problems with grace and integrity
