Robert Half Project Manager in New York, New York
Description We are seeking a Project Manager in the Advertising industry based in New York, New York. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing the design process by assigning tasks to the in-house designers, ensuring quality control, and understanding design principles related to rich media advertising. You will also be expected to manage multiple client projects efficiently, with a focus on meeting deadlines and maintaining flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Assign design work to in-house designers, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time
• Ensure quality control and adherence to design principles specific to rich media advertising
• Manage approximately 50-70 ongoing client projects, particularly during peak periods
• Set and meet project deadlines, prioritizing tasks effectively to ensure optimal workflow
• Display agility and flexibility in managing tasks and responding to changes in project requirements
• Familiarize yourself with creative platforms and demonstrate knowledge of Adobe suite
• Collaborate with creative teams experienced in high volume work
• Utilize project management tools such as Atlassian Jira, Asana, Monday, or similar platforms for efficient project tracking and management
• Deliver excellent customer service by resolving customer inquiries and maintaining accurate customer records
• Perform standard project management duties on a larger scale. Requirements • Proven experience in the advertising industry, with a focus on Project Management
• Proficiency in Atlassian Jira for project tracking and management
• Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
• Experience with Database management and EO/IR systems
• Knowledge of IBM systems and applications
• Experience with time tracking software, preferably 'About Time'
• Understanding of Budget Processes within the advertising industry
• Prior experience in a construction environment would be beneficial
• Exceptional Customer Service skills
