Robert Half Property Manager in New York, New York
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Property Manager to join one of our client's property management firms in New York, NY. This position will oversee a large residential portfolio with some commercial spaces in Manhattan's Upper East & West Side. This position will be strategic in nature but will certainly encompass on-location work at times. In this role, you will be responsible for the following:
Oversee all building owner & tenant relations
Manage building staff (superintendents, porters, leasing staff, maintenance, etc).
Handle financial reporting & budget management for the portfolio/ individual buildings
Enforce all property rules & regulations
Mitigate building violations in a timely manner
Supervise building capital improvement projects
Ensure successful compliance of all NYS/NYC building regulations, codes, and laws
Ad hoc projects and reporting as needed
A minimum of 5 years experience managing a large residential portfolio is required
A bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline is required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A sound understanding of Excel & Yardi software is preferred
The ability to manage a team in an effective manner & strong leadership skills
