Robert Half International Sales Assistant/Project Manager in NEW YORK, New York


A high-end architecture hardware company located in Midtown is currently seeking a Sales Assistant/Project Manager to join their growing team. In this role, you will work closely with high-net worth clientele, interior designers, architects and other members of the trade to help identify products for large and small scale residential and commercial projects. You will also help manage and follow-up with the customer on order tracking and updates, maintain inventory integrity and accuracy, ensure store merchandising standards are maintained, process POS transactions (i.e., sales, returns and exchanges) in accordance with company policies and provides accurate information to clients and much more!

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors’ Degree or related experience in Retail Management/Sales or hardware/luxury retail environment and a minimum of 2 years’ experience (in designated field/specialization). We are seeking sales professionals who engage product knowledge to drive and achieve sales. Candidates must be able to build rapport with both customers and the team and act always with the customer in mind. Requirements - BA/BS degree in business, communications, or a related field recommended

  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines

  • 2+ years of Sales Assistant experience preferred

  • Excellent social skills, project coordination experience and the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as with outside clients and vendors

  • Comprehensive knowledge of customer service

  • Microsoft Excel experience preferred

    • Skills in Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Be creative, adaptive, and eager to learn new technical skill sets
