Robert Half Senior Accountant in New York, New York
Description
An established publicly traded Medical Services technology company located in the New York, NY, area is looking to add a Senior Accountant to their team.
• Analyze financial statements and accounts for discrepancies.
• Conduct monthly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
• Reconcile intercompany balances.
• Performs other duties as required.
• Purchase accounting.
• Perform fixed asset accounting.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
• 3 years of previous work experience in accounting.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Familiarity with Workday and any SEC is a plus.
• CPA or parts passed preferred
• Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
