Transportation/Logistics company is looking to hire a Senior Accountant to their team. They are located in NYC and are in the office 3/4 days a week, so are seeking locally based candidates.

General accounting responsibilities include.

• Post, monitor and review transactions in the general ledger.

• Run and review AR and AP aging.

• Reconciling bank statements.

• Prepare and file various on-line returns for multiple legal entities for corporate, sales, and property taxes. Maintain tax calendar with due dates, websites, filing frequencies, etc.

• Assist in month end closing including balance sheet and P& L analysis.

• Prepare documents for annual audit.

Requirements

• Accounting/Finance degree

• 4+ years General Ledger Accounting/Month end close experience

• Microsoft Dynamics experience a plus
