Robert Half Senior Accountant in NEW YORK, New York
A rapidly growing Telehealth start-up is currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join its growing NYC team. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience and learn alongside a group of talented professionals.
Responsibilities of this role will include:
Performing account reconciliations
Supporting general ledger maintenance
Preparing journal entries and assisting with month end close
Assisting with bringing accounting operations in-house from external consultants
Handling monthly and quarterly reports
Supporting periodic audits by preparing the necessary documents and schedules
Performing analysis of sales, costs, and variances to budget
Handling ad hoc projects as needed
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, and at least 3 years of experience. CPA highly desired. Must have detailed understanding of GAAP. Candidate should also possess advanced knowledge of Excel. This position will go to an analytical thinker, with excellent organizational and communication skills.
