Description

A highly successful NYC Real Estate firm is currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. This is an amazing opportunity to grow your career with an industry-leading organization.

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for:

  • Preparing monthly financial statements and reports

  • Preparing necessary information for internal and external audits

  • Assisting with annual budget preparation

  • Maintaining general ledgers for various residential properties

  • Ensuring compliance with reporting deadlines

  • Assisting with due diligence related to property acquisitions

  • Preparing and reviewing account reconciliations

  • Handling various related and ad hoc duties.

    Requirements

The ideal candidate for this position will have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting and at least 7 years of experience, with a background in residential real estate. CPA license is required, as well as proficiency in Yardi and MRI. This position will go to an analytical thinker with strong communication and multi-tasking skills.
