Description
Our client, a mission driven nonprofit organization, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team in NYC. By joining the team as a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the organization's financial health and ensuring the integrity of their financial processes, supporting our continued growth and success. In this role, you will be instrumental in analyzing key general ledger accounts, including but not limited to cash, investments, prepaid expenses, and accrued liabilities. You will ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records through detailed bank reconciliations, troubleshooting discrepancies, and preparing critical financial reports. In addition, the Senior Accountant will be responsible for maintaining timely monthly financial close, ensuring accurate reporting. Requirements
-BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or related field
-3+ years of experience in accounting, non-profit experience preferred
-Excellent written and oral communication skills
