Description
Our client, a powerhouse in the Real Estate Investments industry is seeking a forward-thinking individual to join their team in NYC as a Senior Accountant. In this role, you will be tasked with assisting the day to day accounting process, including preparing journal entries, performing variance analysis on income statement and balance sheet accounts, and analyzing intercompany transactions. In addition, you will assist in quarter end close and financial consolidation process, including preparing 10-K and 10-Q disclosures. This opportunity is ideal for candidates who are seeking a dynamic environment, assisting various members of the accounting team with account analyses, audit inquiries, and reporting requests. Requirements
-BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or related field
-2-4 years of experience in accounting, public accounting foundation preferred
-CPA preferred
-Strong written and verbal communication skills
