Description
Our client in NYC is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Fund Accountant to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to play a crucial role in various aspects of fund accounting, valuation, compliance, investor relations, and tax management. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you will review fund administrator deliverables, including quarterly close workpapers, investor statements, and periodic capital calls. In addition, you'll be tasked with assisting in the completion of the annual financial statement audits, while reviewing investor K-1s prepared by the external tax team. Requirements
-BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or related field
-4+ years of experience within financial services or fund accounting
-CPA preferred
