Robert Half International Senior Manager, Technical Accounting in NEW YORK, New York
A highly successful EdTech is currently seeking a Senior Manager of Technical Accounting to join their team.
Responsibilities of this position will include:
Developing and implementing best practices for order-to-cash cycle
Performing consolidation and derivative analyses
Analyzing complex revenue agreements and technical accounting issues
Drafting and reviewing technical accounting memos in accordance with US GAAP
Managing month-end close processes associated with revenue accounts
Handling ad hoc projects as needed
The ideal candidate for this position will have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, and at least 5 years of experience. Extensive knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls is required. CPA highly preferred. Candidate should also have experience in accounting research, as well as policy and memo writing. This position will be filled by a strong leader with excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
