In the Senior Accountant role, you will support the company's goals by preparing and consolidating financial statements, analyzing and reconciling accounts, analyzing cash flow, establishing budgets and forecasting, preparing audits, and handling internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Major responsibilities
Assist in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
Perform monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables such as journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP
Ensure corporate accounting policies, procedures, and controls are followed when working with business partners and be able to provide support on special requests
Strong interest in continuously improving the automation of the accounting and reporting process
Partake in various department-wide initiatives
Produce monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management purposes
Analyze financial information and report on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)
Manage Ad-hoc projects as necessary
Prepare Balance Sheet account reconciliations Requirements - Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills
Strong analytical capabilities and discernment
Skill with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
3-5 years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
SEC reporting and SOX compliance is a plus
Efficient in ERP systems
Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment
Vow to meet business deadlines
High attention to detail and possesses excellent organizational and writing skills
Accounting experience in publicly-traded company a plus
NetSuite experience
Strong familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR)
Command of Accounts Payable (AP)
Experience with Form 10-K
Adeptness in Form 10-Q
Comprehensive knowledge of month end closings
Skilled at time management
Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems
