Description We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team in New York. In this role, you will assist in managing our financial transactions and ensuring our financial records are accurate and up-to-date. Responsibilities:

• Assist with the backlog of bookkeeping tasks, ensuring financial transactions are recorded accurately.

• Process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), ensuring the timely payment of invoices and collection of payments.

• Conduct bank reconciliations to verify our financial transactions align with our bank statements.

• Utilize the Yardi software system to manage our financial transactions and records.

• Maintain our accounting entries, ensuring they are accurate and up-to-date.

• Work collaboratively with other team members to manage our financial operations effectively.

This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity. No further information or requirements are needed beyond this point. Requirements • Proficiency in accounting software Yardi is essential

• Demonstrated experience in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management

• Proficient in performing Bank Reconciliations

• Experience with Bookkeeping practices and principles

• Strong knowledge of Accounting Entries is required

• A degree in accounting or a related field is preferred

• Excellent communication and organizational skills are necessary

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High attention to detail and accuracy in work

• Familiarity with tax and regulatory requirements of accounting

• Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

• Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
