Description Senior Project Manager – Job Description Responsible for managing and supporting project management efforts across the organization; coordinates, monitors and manages projects across multiple disciplines. These projects are typically highly visible initiatives with significant impact on business or product viability. May assist with coordination of global projects. Position Duties and Responsibilities Advises executive management of recommended changes and/or improvements Oversees and may contribute to the development of project definition and scope at the project level Coordinates resources in different geographies, to resolve complex issues, improve systems/processes, and facilitate integration between systems Manages/leads projects involving multiple stakeholders and drives the formulation of business processes and requirements Monitor key milestones and outcomes of responsible projects in the program throughout the project lifecycle to ensure adherence to established quality standards Provides timely and accurate information and status updates to functional leaders Develops presentations, dashboards, reports and other team and executive level project communications and documentation Emulate and ensure adherence to Santander Bank project management standards through the consistent application of recognized project and program management processes; ensure discipline and controls are consistently applied to projects from initiation through completion (Gates and onboarding process for the applications) This is an IMPORTANT NICE TO HAVE
Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience 6-8 years of experience; extensive knowledge of project management and advanced leadership skills Ability to scope out and develop work plan and resource requirements and risks associated with activities Excellent project management skills; ability to manage resources, sets scope, time scales, and deliverables, recognizes changing requirements and addresses program / project impact Proficient with Project and Portfolio Management Tools. (SharePoint, Visio, Excel, Microsoft Project, Access, Powerpoint, Delivery Hub, Insight (Important NICE TO HAVE, etc.) Knowledge and expertise in the use of project management methodologies and tools (i.e. Agile, SDLC, SCRUM, Waterfall, Iterative) Knowledge of Originations: Credit Underwriting and Portfolio Management platforms preferred Able to identify risks and manage them, escalating when necessary Superior communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels in the organization, managing vertically and horizontally Languages: English – Spanish (Fluent) Other considerations Requirements Agile
