Robert Half Technical Support Manager in New York, New York

Description As a Technical Support Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT services, systems, and cybersecurity measures. You will be responsible for providing technical expertise to end-users and maintaining a secure and efficient IT environment. The successful candidate will have a strong background in IT services, operations, and cybersecurity, with proficiency in various technologies including Office 365, Windows, Active Directory, Azure, AWS, Intune, and Jira.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Support:

Offer expert-level technical support for end-users, addressing hardware and software issues promptly and efficiently.

Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related problems, ensuring minimal downtime.

Implement and maintain IT best practices for optimal system performance.

System and Solution Management:

Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of IT systems and solutions.

Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of new technologies.

Cybersecurity:

Develop and implement cybersecurity measures to safeguard company data and systems.

Stay current with cybersecurity trends and proactively address potential vulnerabilities.

Technology Proficiency:

Demonstrate expertise in Office 365, Windows, Active Directory, Azure, AWS, Intune, and Jira.

Evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance IT operations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Proven experience in a technical support management role.

Strong knowledge of IT services, operations, and cybersecurity.

Proficiency in Office 365, Windows, Active Directory, Azure, AWS, Intune, and Jira.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Team-oriented with leadership abilities.

Industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate) are a plus. Requirements Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS) Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
