Description We are in search of an Office Manager to join our team in New York, New York. The role centers around supporting our aerospace production through sourcing, negotiation, and expediting of material. This position is a contract role that will utilize your skills in areas such as documentation, Microsoft Excel, training, and materials handling.

Responsibilities

• Support aerospace production through sourcing of materials and soliciting RFQs.

• Conduct price analysis and negotiation to ensure cost-effectiveness.

• Expedite the delivery of materials to maintain the production schedule.

• Utilize SAP for various functions such as converting requisitions to purchase orders, updating delivery dates, running standard reports, creating/updating source lists and purchase info records, and validating lead-times.

• Communicate with suppliers through calls and emails for follow-ups and expediting.

• Conduct weekly calls with assigned suppliers to ensure smooth operations.

• Assist in resolving receiving issues and quality issues with material or documentation from suppliers.

• Work with Accounts Payable department on payment issues.

• Handle documentation, training, payment processing, and materials handling.

• Use Microsoft Excel and other MS Office 365 tools, such as Pivot Table, to manage and analyze data. Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency in Documentation and Microsoft Excel

• Experience in Training and Payment Processing

• Familiarity with Materials Handling and About Time software

• Capable of providing Workstation Support

• Knowledgeable in Pricing and Production practices

• Skilled in Negotiation and handling Financial Notes

• Experience in managing Purchase Orders and working with Suppliers

• Proficiency in Specification and Supply Chain Management

• Understanding of Buying Processes and Agreement creation

• Experience in Sourcing materials and Onsite management

• Knowledge of Validation Plans and MS Office 365

• Ability to create and manage Pivot Tables

• Experience in handling Requisitions and Quotations

• Knowledge of ASP - Active Server Page is a plus
