Description We are situated in Newark, California, and we are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Access Ops Agent. Our organization operates in the healthcare industry and the selected individual will be a key player within our team, handling customer interaction and ensuring efficient operations.
Responsibilities:
• Efficiently manage inbound and outbound calls, faxes, and other communications with patients, providers, and clinic staff
• Coordinate care services by scheduling, editing, and maintaining patient and physician appointments
• Communicate effectively with the care team, support staff, patients, and external facilities to obtain necessary information required for care
• Accurately document and route calls to the relevant department, identifying urgent needs or operational issues and escalating them appropriately
• Facilitate communication between the patient and the physician or clinic, delivering expert knowledge regarding clinic-specific processes
• Update and maintain insurance information accurately
• Adhere to all regulatory and compliance standards, delivering a high level of customer service
• Use reference documents and online knowledge base tools to articulate accurate information regarding services
• Utilize the functionality of the telephone system as required
• Perform other departmental duties as assigned. Requirements • Demonstrated ability in Customer Service

• Proficiency in Answering Inbound Calls
• Ability to Schedule Appointments
• Proficiency in using Database systems
• Experience in Scheduling
• Ability to handle both Inbound and Outbound Calls
• Knowledge of Insurance policies and procedures
• Aptitude to manage time efficiently
• Experience working in a Facility environment
• Ability to handle Financial Notes
• Understanding of Clinical Trial Operations
• Experience with Medical Records management
• Knowledge of medical Protocols
• Familiarity with Compliance Functions
• Ability to Distribute Faxes
• Excellent Editing skills
• Experience in Health Care industry
• Familiarity with Epic Software
• Understanding of Medical Terminology
• Proficiency in using Phone Systems
• Experience in Clinics operations
• Familiarity with Contact Center operations
• Ability to Route Incoming Calls.
